Oba Femi Is Now The Longest-Reigning WWE NXT North American Champion

Oba Femi has etched his name in WWE’s history books, as the Nigerian now boasts the longest reign as WWE NXT North American Champion.

Femi has surpassed the previous record-holder, Wes Lee, who held the title for 269 days between October 2022 to July 2023.

Femi won the title in January of this year by cashing in his NXT Break Out contract for a title match against then-champion Dragon Lee.

Femi’s reign has seen him retain his title against the likes of Dragon Lee, Wes Lee, Ivar, and recently against Tony D’Angelo.

On the upcoming October 8th episode of WWE NXT, Femi will defend his title once again against The Don of the silver brand.
