Misc SmackDown Notes Before Double-Taping: Speed Match, Dark Match, Producer Returns

Fightful Select has provided several scoops (here and here) regarding tonight’s double taping of WWE SmackDown. Be sure to go support them to find the full breakdown. While we won’t be sharing most of that information out of respect for them, here are a few miscellaneous notes from tonight’s tapings:

It’s noted that Michael Hayes has returned to his duties as a backstage producer after taking off some time for personal reasons. He is listed as being the producer for several segments, including working on The Bloodline Civil War storyline.

Two bonus matches that won’t be airing on SmackDown are also being recorded. Zelina Vega will face Chelsea Green in a match taped for WWE Speed, and there will be a dark match of Apollo Crews vs. Giovanni Vinci.
