Mandy Rose Reacts To Fans Mocking 'Double Champion' Claim

03/28/2025 12:15 PM
Mandy Rose recently took issue with WWE branding Stephanie Vaquer as NXT’s first female double champion, claiming she set the record in 2022.
Since then, many have pointed out that Rose is not a double champion as she held the NXT and NXT UK Women’s Titles in a title unification match.
On Twitter, Rose said fans were arguing over semantics and those criticizing her would never hold championship gold of their own. She said,
“It’s so funny to me that the people that never held a championship before are the first to sit there and argue about what counts as a double champion. Listen, y’all can argue semantics all that you want, but I still held two titles at the same time. Yes, unified them, thank you. And, call it what you want; who cares? Double Champion, Mandy Two Belts, Undisputed Bada**, whatever. It still doesn’t take away the fact that I did it. So you know, y’all can keep fact-checking over there, and I’ll just keep winning. Have a great day.”
While Rose won the title unification match for the NXT and NXT UK Women’s Titles, she never defended the latter title which was instantly retired.
Vaquer won the NXT Women’s and Women’s North American titles separately and defended both titles separately on this week’s episode.
