The latest trademark filing by WWE has hinted at a brand new show from the promotion focused on both the past and future of the promotion.

On October 19, WWE filed to trademark WWE LFG and WWE Legends & Future Greats in the category of “A show about professional wrestling“.

The trademark filing reads:

“A show about professional wrestling; the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered live and through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing wrestling news and information through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing information in the fields of sports through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing a website in the field of wrestling.”

WWE has produced several biographical shows over the years, including Biography: WWE Legends and WWE Rivals alongside A&E.

In January, WWE will make a massive change to its programming when WWE RAW moves to Netflix as part of a lucrative deal.

Fans outside the U.S. will also receive WWE SmackDown, WWE NXT, and WWE pay-per-views on the streaming platform come January.
