During a recent edition of his “Kliq This” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash shared his thoughts on John Cena turning heel and why such a turn was unfeasible for WWE in the past.

Nash also shared an experience from 2013 when he witnessed John Cena perform live and how the audience was split regarding his babyface persona.

Nash recalled seeing Cena perform live, saying, "This is when they would do that, 'Let's go Cena! Cena sucks!' thing, and it was at its f**king peak. I just said, 'God, I've never in my life seen anything like this.’"

Nash noted that Cena's immense popularity, evidenced by his merchandise sales and involvement in Make-A-Wish events, made it impossible for WWE to turn him heel.

He added, "John sold so much merchandise and did so much Make-A-Wish that it was impossible to turn him heel."

Cena is set to face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41, which is scheduled for April 19-20 at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
