WWE Hall of Famer John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield has been making several appearances in wrestling as of late, but could AEW be next on his list?

JBL has already appeared for TNA Wrestling, AAA, Game Changer Wrestling, and Major League Wrestling while also being under a WWE Legends deal.

On a recent edition of his “Grilling JR” Ross addressed the former WWE Champion appearing for AEW in the future. He said,

“I think it’s a good idea. It adds to the presentation, it gives you a memorable moment in the ring in front of all the fans. Memorable moments are what we look for. You’re not going to remember every head and wrist lock during the show — they’re important to the process, no doubt. However, this adds a new element.

“John showing up and doing his thing [would be] a surprise, and a fitting surprise. I’m not saying he should be full-time, because I don’t know if he wants to be full-time, but I do think on a special occasion, him making an appearance would be talked about.”

JBL has explained his return to wrestling, saying he doesn’t want his ill-fated run with Baron Corbin to be his final moment in the industry.

During these non-WWE appearances, the Texan is being referred to as John Layfield instead of JBL as WWE has ownership over the ‘Bradshaw’ term.
