Jerry Lawler Recalls Signing With WWE, Tyrese Haliburton Reacts To SmackDown Appearance

During a recent interview with News4Jax, Jerry “The King” Lawler commented on being hired by the WWF in 1992 while also being allowed to work USWA. He said,

"He agreed to bring me into WWE and still let me still let me work in USWA. As a matter of fact, the first time Vince ever became a heel, he came down to Memphis and worked against me and nobody else saw it. He learned a little bit from me from there. I wasn't thinking about this, making me the greatest or anything like that. I was just doing it on a daily basis because I wanted to wrestle more than I wanted to commentate so it just happened the way it did."

As seen on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Indiana Pacers player Tyrese Haliburton made appearance alongside Logan Paul. This led to New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson getting involved by siding with LA Knight, with Brunson stopping Haliburton from interfering in the Knight vs. Paul vs. Santos Escobar match.

In a “Digital Exclusive” that was posted to Twitter following the show, Paul and Haliburton commented on the events that occured. You can check out the video below:
