Christopher Daniels’ farewell from the ring during a recent edition of AEW Collision left a lot to be desired as far as Jeff Jarrett is concerned.

Daniels’ final match was a Texas Death Match loss to ‘Hangman’ Adam Page. On last week’s episode of Dynamite, Daniels shared that this was his last match.

On a recent edition of his “My World” podcast, Jeff Jarrett argued that AEW could’ve done so much more with the veteran’s goodbye. He said,

“If this is Chris’ call, cool, but man, do you know how many people that get into this business today or have over the last, because Chris has been in I think 30 years. Not many people get to have the career of a Christopher Daniels, so if this really is calling it a career, I think the business, deserves is maybe a strong word, but would want, my god, look what he’s done for this, let’s give him a little bit better send-off.”

Jeff explained that while Daniels shouldn’t have received a Ric Flair-like send-off, there was much more that could have been done for the AEW/ROH wrestler.

It has been speculated by fans that Daniels’ retirement could be leading to an eventual return and be turned into an angle and feud with Page.
