Ivar recently reflected on the 2007 Chaotic Wrestling event, which featured John Cena and Vince McMahon.
Both Cena and McMahon appeared at the independent CW Homecoming show in Byfield, Massachusetts, where The Champ served as the guest referee for the main event, while the former WWE Chairman made a surprise cameo.
Ivar recalled this memorable moment during a recent appearance on the “Insight” podcast.

On how the appearance came about: "(Cena) wanted to do a benefit show; one of his brothers was a police officer, was in an accident. He wanted to do a fundraiser for their police department. So, he talked to his dad, and they contacted Chaotic Wrestling and decided they were gonna put on a benefit show and Vince gave the blessing for John to come in."
Ivar recalled watching the night's main event match backstage on the monitor with others and being confused by the commotion of a person in a suit entering the ring that as they were not made aware. This person was McMahon, who then endorsed Brian Milonas, the match's heel, before being confronted by Cena.
On Cena hitting McMahon with an Attitude Adjustment: "Vince takes the worst Attitude Adjustment ever, just as bad as that last Stunner he took, and he rolls out of the ring, goes over the guardrail out to a limo and takes off. The only people who knew (McMahon was appearing) were John, and the promoter James [Jamitkowski], and they weren't even sure if he was actually gonna show up… Pretty wild he would do that for John."
During a recent appearance on “The Ring Wrestling Show,” Oba Femi revealed that his parents greatly support his wrestling career, partly because he has taken the time to explain the sport to them.
Femi will face Trick Williams for the NXT Championship at NXT New Year's Evil 2025.

On his family pushing him to finish college before wrestling: "I personally have no regrets about finishing [college]. Although, yes, they were the ones pushing for it. … I don't regret going back and finishing because I have a degree which is always something to fall back on, something you have that no one can take away from you. I believe things happen for a reason. There's a reason I joined WWE officially in 2022 and not 2021, because we don't know if I joined earlier, that it would have been my year necessarily."
On his parents supporting his career: "My parents definitely have a good grip on what this is. Because I've explained to them how things work and how you climb up the ladder. So that when they see these accolades I receive, they understand fully well what's going on. But like, they don't know everything. … You kind of have to be there to fully understand what wrestling truly is."
