Winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles with Alba Fyre was extra special for Isla Dawn given that the pair won the gold in their native Scotland.

The Unholy Union captured the titles at WWE Clash At The Castle: Glasgow in June 2024, WWE’s first pay-per-view event in Scotland.

Speaking to the BBC, Dawn looked back on winning the title, surrounded by Scottish fans and others from the United Kingdom. She said,

“To win a title in WWE is what everyone wants, it’s a real dream come true stuff, but getting to do it in Glasgow was extra special.

“I remember when we walked out for our entrance and got in the ring, I could see my family sitting in the second row. That was such a nice moment as they don’t get to see me wrestle that often. I think the last time my mum saw me would have been about 2019.”

Dawn shared that her sister started crying after the win, with a photo of her tears now serving as the family’s WhatsApp group chat cover photo.

Dawn and Fyre held the titles for 77 days before dropping them back to former champions, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill at WWE Bash In Berlin in August.
