In a recent interview with “Sports Illustrated,” Carmelo Hayes stated that he is not finished with Andrade.

The two men faced off for the fifth time in a few months last week on SmackDown, competing for a shot at the United States Championship. Andrade emerged victorious, but Hayes noted he might not be ready to move on from the feud.

You can check out some highlights from the interview below:

On the feud 'culminating' last week: "Did it culminate? Maybe on one side. Maybe on one side, it's culminated."

On being part of the five-match series with Andrade: "It feels like an opportunity to get guys who are hungry and didn't have a direction at the time. It was like, 'Hey, we know we got these two studs. Let's see what we make out of it. I don't know if it was fully planned, and who knows how far we will take it. But personally, I'm not okay with losing in five when I know there can be seven. I've seen all these other guys go to seven. What makes this different? Why does this only go to five? He didn't sweep me. He's just barely beating me every time.

"You have to remember that I'm still learning the ropes. I can afford to lose here and there. But believe me, when I figure this thing out, it might be seven matches, but when I figure this thing out, I'm coming out on top. I have to tighten up, and I have to lock in and figure out the next two matches if I want them or what my angle will be. But he has a match against LA Knight for the U.S. title. I guess if that's what you want to call a culmination, and that's a culmination, but don't think I'm not going to spin the block on him or LA Knight."

On a recent edition of his “Wrestling With Freddie” podcast, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. expressed his opinion on Monday Night RAW transitioning to a two-hour format for the remainder of the year.

Prinze suggested that this change could potentially result in talent cuts.

WWE RAW will switch to the two-hour format from October 7 until the end of the year before reverting to its three-hour format on Netflix in January.

Prinze stated, "They're moving it and cutting it down to two, which I've always thought is the perfect amount of time. I predict they will not have as many wrestlers on the roster as they currently do because there won't be enough time. That's a full hour less of matches, segments, storylines, backstage segments, promos in the ring … a full hour less, which means it won't be cost-effective for them to carry that many wrestlers."

He continued, "They are now owned by TKO, another corporation, and they will do a cost-effective … [they'll think] 'This wrestler's not being used, cut them. This wrestler's not being used, cut them,' which gives more opportunities for wrestlers to go to AEW, to go to another brand if it goes out there."
