On a recent edition of his “83 Weeks” podcast, Eric Bischoff questioned why WWE doesn’t have a permanent role for Sean ‘X-Pac’ Waltman. He said,

“I can’t imagine that there’s not a role for him down in Florida. Sean’s married, he’s got a wife who’s got a great job in Hollywood and they’ve got a home and he’s got a great life. Just two, three weeks ago when we were together, man, he was living a great life. He may just be ready to make appearances every now and then, I know how that feels. You still love the business. You still have a passion for it, but it’s tempered by reality.”

WWE has several former wrestlers working at the Performance Center, including NXT head Shawn Michaels and trainer Norman Smiley.

Bischoff’s comments come after he and Waltman filmed content for WWE LFG: Legends and Future Greats, the promotion’s new talent-development show.

Waltman’s most recent match for WWE came during a July 2002, edition of Monday Night RAW, where he competed in a ten-man tag-team match.

Waltman has been inducted twice into the Hall of Fame, as part of DX and the NWO. Many predict Waltman will be WWE’s first three-time inductee.
