ECW Alumnus Hunter Q Robbins III Passes Away At 57

Robin Hunt, popularly known as ECW original Hunter Q Robbins III, has passed away.

Pwinsider is reporting that Hunt passed away over the weekend, but details surrounding his death remain unknown. He was 57 years old.

Hunt was Sabu’s first manager in ECW and oversaw the Super Destroyers, The Suicide Blondes, and Jimmy Snuka.

Hunt participated in a match at ECW UltraClash '93, teaming with Snuka against Tod Gordon and Davey Boy Smith.

After leaving ECW, Hunt organized several independent events in the Northeast US. He eventually departed from the wrestling scene to focus on producing and directing indie films, with his most recent work being the short film Paradox, which received accolades at the Hollywood Gold Awards, the Milan Gold Awards, the Movie Play International Film Festival, and the New Jersey Film Awards.

The Blue Meanie took to Twitter to express his condolences, writing,

"Rest In Peace ECW Original Hunter Q. Robbins III. He was cool guy every time I interacted with him. My thoughts go out to his family"
