During a recent appearance on “The Wrestling Classic” podcast, WWE Women's United States Champion Chelsea Green spoke about her history with Michin, who she feuded with throughout 2024.
Michin was also Green’s first television opponent in TNA Wrestling.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
Chelsea Green on Michin: "She was my first ever, ever, ever, ever, TV match. At TNA, they brought me in for a tryout. They said 'You're going to be on the…' I believe it was the Knockouts Knockdown PPV. 'You're going to have a match with Michin, Mia Yim, or Jade…And you're going to have four and four. And this is where the hardcam is.' And I was like 'What's the hardcam, and what does four and four mean?’"
On how Michin helped her through that experience: "It was like all these things I didn't know. And I tell you, she held my hand, through that experience. And from then on, we've just had really good chemistry. And you don't always have that with people. We're all different wrestlers, we're all…we all have our own ways that we move in the ring. But her and I just have this weird, unspoken, telepathy in the ring. And we have it…I mean, we had it last week when she wrestled Piper. We always have it. It's really weird!"
During a recent appearance on the "Pod Meets World" podcast, actor Will Friedle discussed his time at WWE RAW's debut episode on Netflix.
Friedle was with Danielle Fishel at the historic episode of RAW. Both appeared in Boy Meets World as Eric Matthews and Topanga Lawrence, respectively.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On what he expected from the WWE Raw event: "I don't know. I truly don't know. Obviously, Boy Meets World has some connection with wrestling. We had Vader on and he threw me around the ring for a while. Mick Foley, Mankind, we're still good friends with Mick. I had some idea. I thought I had some idea of what the world was kind of going to be."
On how Danielle Fishel hooked him in with wrestling: "The way Danielle hooked me was, she was like, 'It's fantasy. It is Dungeons and Dragons. It is live action role playing. Look at it like that.' When I put that in my head, I was like, 'Okay.' I already knew about the athleticism and the performers."
His thoughts on the live experience: "We walk in, packed, 18,000 fans. Everyone in cosplay. Everyone with belts, and signs, every age, every color, every gender, everything is represented. It's the most beautiful hodgepodge of people you've ever seen in your life. When I mean packed, there was not a seat in this place, from the time the event started to four hours later when it ended, no one got up and left. Insane."
