As we previously reported here on eWn, Jacob Fatu has been accused of not showing up to a charity event and withholding the advance payments.
Jake's Network of Hope has released a statement regarding its issues with Jacob Fatu, clarifying that it is addressing the situation privately.
Jenn Harper, the charity's Director of Development, issued a statement to Sports Illustrated. The statement reads as follows,
"Jacob Fatu and our organization are addressing this matter privately, beginning with a phone call and heartfelt apology back in May. While the full amount owed hasn't yet been repaid, we appreciated Jacob's acknowledgment. It can be tough to face up to your wrongdoings, and we commend him for taking steps toward confronting his."
At NJPW Power Struggle 2024, Ricochet called out Zack Sabre Jr., and Sabre responded to the AEW wrestler at the post-show press conference.
Ricochet appeared at the event, attacked Sabre, and challenged him to a match at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty 2025.
Sabre said, "What the f**k was that? I guess that f**king is interesting. Ricochet. You've been all around the world but you've not been growing any f**king hair have you? Yeah, welcome back Ricochet. You certainly are one of the best wrestlers in the world. So I guess it's a huge compliment that the first person you are seeking in your return to New Japan is the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion."
He continued, "I will accept any f**king challenger whether they've got hair or not. Ricochet, Wrestle Dynasty, I said any dickhead from AEW, well you are ichiban f**king di*khead."
The match has yet to be officially announced for the show, which will take place on January 5, 2025.
