Chad Gable – 'I'm Amazed By Chelsea Green's Character Work'

Chad Gable may have some comedic chops of his own, but the Alpha Academy member has been blown away by the character of Chelsea Green.

On a recent edition of the “Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg” podcast, Gable was asked about which WWE Superstars have impressed him with their character. He said,

“Chelsea Green, and I’ve told her this too, she blows my mind with the character work. She is someone who knows exactly what her role is and delivers to a degree that you shouldn’t be able to on a nightly basis. She takes something that shouldn’t be that good and makes it incredible. If you’re able to do that with a character.

“It’s not like she’s having these 10 or 12 minute TV matches. They are super short segments. It’s the sign of a professional when you get somebody that gets very little TV time and maximizes it to the ultimate degree. She’s doing that.”

Gable has been recognized for his own character work with his intense treatment of the Alpha Academy and his work with the Wyatt Sicks being praised.

Green returned to WWE in the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble match. The former Women’s Tag Team Champion has since teamed with Sonya Deville and Piper Niven.

At tonight’s WWE Money in the Bank 2024 pay-per-view event, Gable and Green will compete in the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches respectively.
