WWE’s contracts for several wrestlers expired this year, and some have signed new deals. Notable names include Asuka, Seth Rollins, Shayna Baszler, Drew McIntyre, Humberto Carrillo, Angel Garza, and Damian Priest.

Another Superstar also seems to have inked a new deal that will tie him down for the foreseeable future. The wrestler is Cedric Alexander.

Throughout his tenure with WWE, Alexander has experienced both successes and setbacks. He initially competed in the Cruiserweight Classic and then transitioned to the 205 Live brand before moving to RAW.

In late 2019, reports emerged that Paul Heyman held Alexander in high regard during his tenure as RAW’s Executive Director, leading to a short-lived push for the wrestler. Alexander was feuding with AJ Styles for the United States Title at this time.

Thereafter, Alexander joined The Hurt Business alongside Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin in 2020. The group had a loyal fan following before disbanding. Alexander also won the Tag Team Championship during this period.

Despite his accomplishments, WWE has not utilized Alexander in recent times, besides featuring him in live events and Main Event matches.

During a virtual signing for K & S WrestleFest, MVP stated that he thinks Alexander "recently signed a new deal"with WWE.

However, neither Alexander nor WWE have officially confirmed MVP’s claims.
