Cassie Lee has been away from wrestling for some time, and her husband, Shawn Spears, mentioned that she is increasing her motivation to return to the ring.

Lee’s most recent match was in October last year for World Series Wrestling in Australia.

On a recent edition of the “Insight” podcast, Spears revealed that Lee has started preparing for a potential return.

He said, "She's still getting the itch, so she's already weight training, she's doing all that kind of stuff. She's getting back into the mix and things like that. When she feels 100% good to go, there's a ring close by. She plans on getting back into it."

Spears continued, "She doesn't know to what capacity, meaning no one's said anything to her. Nobody's said, 'Hey, when you're ready, come on back!' Not Impact, not anything, but [with] the working relationship, who's to say that's not a possibility."

Lee and Spears welcomed their second child in June of this year.

On a recent edition of the “AEW Unrestricted” podcast, Mansoor reflected on his and Mason Madden’s time in WWE and evaluated the lessons they had learned.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On what they learned in WWE: "One of the biggest lessons we learned in our previous place of employment is that every single second of television matters an incredible amount. [If] we're on camera for five seconds, we want to make sure that those five seconds we're on TV is what people are gonna remember out of that segment. TV time is a gift — it really is — and every moment and opportunity you're on TV, you have an opportunity to endear yourself further with the audience."

On comparing AEW and WWE: "If WWE is like a Michael Bay movie, I see AEW as like a David Lynch movie, you know what I mean?"
