On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Bully Ray had praise for WWE following Penta’s debut during this week’s episode of RAW. He said,

"The way he was presented, the worst kept secret, the merchandise, having the masks ready to go. The entrance, the music, the pyro, the allowing him to take his time to get to the ring, the match time, the finish, the promo afterward.

“WWE told the entire world, 'This is Penta. We're giving him all the time he needs to get over on this night.' WWE Universe, welcome Penta.”

Penta arrived in WWE following weeks of vignettes with a win over Chad Gable, who had requested a match with a luchador.

Penta parted ways with AEW in 2024 after years with the promotion. He is a former AEW World Tag Team and AEW Trios Champion.

Penta’s brother Rey Fenix remains in AEW but isn’t being used. He has alluded to ‘inhumane treatment’ by the promotion.
