Bobby Lashley Reveals Reason For WWE Exit, AJ Francis Dishes On Potential Moose Partnership

During a recent appearance on the “Drop The Heat” podcast, MVP discussed his reasons for departing from WWE and highlighted the difficulties he faced working with the existing management.

MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin are currently part of AEW.

MVP said, "This time, I didn't want to re-sign and I let it be known that I wasn't going to re-sign because the new management in place — anytime, I don't care where you work, when new management comes in, it's good for some people and not for other people. New people come in, old people go. So I just felt that it was definitely time to go because the new management just wasn't for me and I ain't for him [laughs].”

During a recent appearance on the “Drop The Heat” podcast, AJ Francis discussed the possibility of forming a tag team with Moose in TNA Wrestling, given that both wrestlers have backgrounds in the NFL.

Francis said, "I'd like to tag with Moose. We're the only two real NFL players that are actually in wrestling, you know, we didn't just get a rookie mini-camp tryout, we actually played in games. We're the only two guys, so that would be cool to be real NFL players.”
