As we previously reported here on eWn, Drew McIntyre tweeted that he got "real glass" in his eye after being thrown onto a car windshield on SmackDown.

Pwinsider is reporting that while he did receive treatment and had something removed from his eye, it was not glass. WWE's medical team checked on him before he left the venue.

Despite this, McIntyre wore an eye patch backstage and claimed glass was removed. He is not at today’s live event in Austria, but he wasn't scheduled to be there.
