Backstage News On Last-Minute Changes Made To WWE RAW (1/6/25)

WWE had a few surprises planned for the premiere episode of WWE RAW on Netflix but there were some last-minute changes made.

Dave Meltzer has confirmed that Becky Lynch’s return was supposed to happen following Rhea Ripley’s victory over Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship, but this was scrapped in favor of an appearance by The Undertaker.

Additionally, Penta El Zero Miedo was initially planned for the show but it was scrapped. WWE aired another teaser video for Penta, indicating that his arrival is imminent.

It is said that several other last-minute changes were made, although it’s unclear what else was changed.
