Backstage News, Notes, & Producers For WWE SmackDown (9/20/24)

You can check out some backstage news, notes, and a list of the producers for last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown below, courtesy of Fightful Select:
* Jeremy Borash produced the Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns Georgia Tech segment. Rob Fee and Paul Heyman were also on hand to help out. Fee and Borash typically work together on segments.
* Petey Williams produced the Andrade vs. LA Knight match.
* Abyss produced the Apollo Crews vs. Giovanni Vinci match. The current direction with Vinci has been the plan ever since his vignettes started.
* Abyss also produced a dark match featuring Baron Corbin vs. Karl Anderson.
* Michael Hayes produced the Kevin Owens segment. He also produced the Bloodline/#DIY segment and the Owens & The Street Profits vs. The Bloodline match.
* Nick Aldis produced the Candice LeRae vs. Piper Niven match for WWE Speed.
* Shane Helms produced the Bayley & Naomi vs. Nia Jax & Tiffany Stratton match.
* And finally, the segment with Chelsea Green was highly praised backstage. Another one will be airing in the near future.
