Zeuxis Beats Willow Nightingale, Wins CMLL Women's Title At CMLL 91st Anniversary

Willow Nightingale‘s reign as the CMLL World Women’s Champion has come to an end.

AEW star Willow Nightingale won the vacant title at CMLL x NJPW FantasticaMania USA on July 13, where she defeated Lluvia and Viva Van. The title was vacated after reigning champion Stephanie Vaquer left the company and was stripped of the championship. Nightingale competed in some eliminator matches on AEW programming over the next few weeks, but she defended the gold for the first time at CMLL 91st Anniversary.

There, Nightingale put the title on the line against Zeuxis, and Zeuxis emerged victorious to win the championship.

This marks Zeuxis’ first reign as the CMLL World Women’s Champion. She is a former CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champion, among other accolades.
