WWE Considering Pitches For Surprising Challenger For Gunther At WrestleMania 41

That would be big. We are just over three months away from WrestleMania 41 and that means that it is time to get ready for the show. WWE is starting to plan for the show, though not every plan that is thrown out will wind up coming to fruition. That might be the case again, as a surprising name has been floated for one of the more important matches on the show.

According to PWInsider Elite by way of Cagesideseats.com, WWE has pitched ideas of Gunther defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Logan Paul at WrestleMania 41. The match has NOT been confirmed and it is not clear how well the ideas were received. Paul was officially moved to the Monday Night Raw roster last month, where he said that he wanted to win the World Heavyweight Championship.

Opinion: I’m not sure I can imagine this happening, but at the end of the day, WWE has at least planted some minor seeds for the match. While that does not mean that it is going to take place at WrestleMania, there is always the chance that we could be seeing this match taking place sooner or later. Paul is a special kind of talent and has some excellent star power, so putting him in this spot would not be crazy.
