WRESTLING RUMORS: John Cena vs. Logan Paul Discussed For WrestleMania 41

Call it a no. We are less than a week away from the start of the new year and that means it is time to start hammering out the card for next year’s WrestleMania. WWE has already started the preparations for what they are going to have on the show, which will include some special moments. However, we also know one match that will not be taking place on the show.

One of the bigger draws of this year’s WrestleMania will be John Cena’s final match at the event. According to WrestleVotes, WWE has discussed a match between Cena and Logan Paul at the event. While the match has been talked about, it was reportedly met with “resounding disapproval” as Paul is not seen as someone who should be Cena’s final WrestleMania opponent. There is no word on who Cena or Paul will be facing at WrestleMania 41, which is set for April 19 and 20.

Opinion: I can get the thinking here, as Cena vs. Paul does sound like an interesting match on paper but there is only going to be one Cena WrestleMania farewell match. It wouldn’t surprise me if that is either the headliner of one of the nights of WrestleMania or one of the bigger matches on the show, and having Paul get the spot just doesn’t fit right. I could see the match happening somewhere, but I’m not picturing it at WrestleMania.
