World Heavyweight Title Match Set For WWE Saturday Night's Main Event

Gunther is set to defend the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 25th.

On the January 13th episode of WWE RAW, World Heavyweight Champion Gunther came to the ring. He noted that other stars were fighting to be the Head of the Table, but that didn’t matter, as the only prize worth fighting for was his title. He made it that he wanted a challenger, and Jey Uso interrupted.

Uso said that Drew McIntyre and the Bloodline family drama were behind him. He challenged Gunther to a title match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Gunther responded by saying that Uso was not on his level, and he would expose him as a talented tag team wrestler. He gave Uso the choice as to whether he wanted to have the match.

Uso fired back by saying that he bet on himself every day, as he was still trying to earn his respect. He vowed to make Gunther respect him by beating him for the title at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
