Triple H Congratulates Jey Uso On First Singles Title Win

Triple H has congratulated Jey Uso on winning his first singles championship in the WWE.

Since his debut on the main roster in 2010, Jey Uso has been seen as a tag team wrestler. Jey and Jimmy Uso won nine tag team championships as “The Usos”, becoming one of the most successful tag teams in WWE history.

However, Jey split from Jimmy and the Bloodline in 2023. He has quickly grown into one of the most popular wrestlers on the main roster. However, singles title have evaded him since going solo.

That is, until now. On Raw, Jey defeated Bron Breakker to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship. He hit a spear and Uso splash on the former champion, pinning him to win his first singles championship in the WWE.

This was a huge moment for Jey Uso, and one that was recognized by Triple H after the fact.

Following Monday Night Raw, Triple H Tweeted out a photo of himself and Jey Uso. The snap was the typical “post title win” photo, showing Triple H pointing at the new champion in the Gorilla position backstage.

He added a caption to the photo, congratulating Jey Uso for the title victory. He called him an “all-time great in the tag team division”, ending with a “YEET” of his very own.

“The embodiment of hard work paying off is "Main Event" Jey @WWEUsos. An all-time great in the tag team division, and now has won one of the most historic championships in our business. Congratulations, Jey…YEET!” Triple H Tweeted out following Monday Night Raw.
