TNA Had Considered Inducting AJ Styles Into Hall Of Fame But WWE Declined RequestJeff WhalenOct 28, 2024 - 12:22 pm

-- Last week, TNA inducted Bob Ryder and Rhino into their Hall of Fame, but those two weren't the only notable names considered as fightfulselect.com reports that Monty Brown and WWE's AJ Styles were also names that were discussed. Obviously, neither individual ended up being inducted but the door isn't closed for that to happen in the future.

-- Notably, TNA approached WWE about inducting Styles but the request was declined. While a specific reason wasn't given why WWE didn't approve of Styles' induction, it is believed to be because of the wrestler's current injury status and/or active storyline. TNA had even hoped that Styles could once again appear and wrestle for them but whether that was discussed between the two promotions isn't clear.
