Swap Em? AEW Rampage May Reportedly Come To An End, Possible Replacement

One in, one out? The landscape of AEW has been changing in recent months and will continue to do so as a new media rights deal is expected to be announced soon, perhaps as early as next week. This could see a variety of changes taking place, though the details have yet to be announced. Now though, we might have an idea of one of the major changes that could go down.

According to F4WOnline.com, AEW Rampage is expected to come to an end with the company’s new media rights deal. A yet to be announced show called Shockwave would become the third AEW show, though it is not clear when or where it would air. These details have yet to be announced by AEW, which has not yet announced a new deal or given any suggestions of when such an announcement could come.

Opinion: This is a situation where the details are going to matter more than anything else. While the idea of having a bit of a break from the run of AEW shows with Friday night being off, the details on Shockwave are going to make a big difference. AEW is going to be in a big change and that is going to include its television shows, which could help boost the promotion up as a whole.
