Sheamus wants to keep wrestling until he physically can’t anymore.

The 46-year-old is one of the most decorated Superstars in WWE. He has won the WWE title, US title, the King of the Ring, the Royal Rumble match and the Money in the Bank in an incredible career so far.

Despite this, he has no intention of hanging up his boots. His goal of becoming a Grand Slam champion is still left unachieved.

Sheamus recently appeared on Insight with Chris Van Vliet. He was asked if he had thought about retirement, which he confirmed he had not after signing a new five-year contract with the WWE. The Irish wrestling star star added that he wanted to go until the wheels fall off, not wanting to end his career with any regret.

“Not really. Again, I just signed a new five-year deal.” Sheamus said, confirming he will be in his 50s when the contract expires. “My wife reminds me all the time, 52. Listen, I’ll go to the wheels fall off me. Could do it until physically I can’t do it anymore. I love what I do. There’s plenty of time to sit back and read a book and just watch TV.”

“I know a lot of people. I’ve talked to some talents as well. But we meet them all of Mania and everything when they come in, especially the Hall of Fame, but also everybody gets invited to Mania. You can tell a lot of the talents who just retired too early. If I had to hang on my boots when that stuff happened with my neck, I'd be at peace with it. Because sometimes you can tell that when they have retired before their time. There is a little bit of regret there.” Sheamus said.
