CM Punk and Seth Rollins had a heated confrontation on WWE RAW, and it led to Sami Zayn challenging Rollins to a match.

CM Punk kicked off the December 2 episode of WWE RAW. This marked his first appearance on the show since October, as he took some time away following his win over Drew McIntyre at WWE Bad Blood. Punk returned on the November 22 episode of WWE SmackDown and aligned with the OG Bloodline. He teamed up with the OG Bloodline in the Men’s WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series, where they emerged victorious.

On his way to the ring, Punk met up with Jey Uso and Sami Zayn backstage and shared a moment with them after their win at WWE Survivor Series. Punk then hyped up the crowd and looked back on the aftermath of his Hell in a Cell match. He said that he knew where he was going now, as he handled his personal business for Paul Heyman, and he pointed out to the stands as he referenced where the WrestleMania sign would go. Punk said there were multiple ways to get to WrestleMania, including the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber.

Seth Rollins Interrupts CM Punk

Punk said that he had a favor or two he could use to get what he wanted, and Seth Rollins interrupted. Rollins looked at Punk and said that he had been thinking a lot. He said that he should have knocked Punk out the day he came back, and he regretted that. Rollins said that a lot had happened since, and plenty of things got in the way.

He noted that he was close to taking his shot, but he had pity on him the last time they saw each other following WWE Bad Blood. Rollins said that seeing Punk stand next to Roman Reigns, it was time to rectify his mistakes. He said he had a feeling this would be the night that he knocked CM Punk on his ass. Punk responded by saying that he was long past running races with people he didn’t know he was racing. He said that Rollins didn’t have a title anymore, so he was not in his future.

CM Punk And Seth Rollins Brawl

Punk warned Rollins to stay out of his business, as he had things that he wanted to do. Rollins said Punk talked too much, and he didn’t listen as this was his business. Rollins shoved Punk, and they started to brawl until Sami Zayn and Jey Uso separated them. Rollins tried to restart the brawl, but officials pulled them apart. Once they were separated, Rollins told Jey Uso to run back to Reigns.

Sami Zayn Argues With Seth Rollins

Zayn got in his face and told him not to talk to Reigns that way. Rollins said that Uso was family, but he asked Zayn what his excuse was. Rollins said the two of them were closer than Sami was with The Bloodline, and Zayn stabbed him in the back. Zayn responded by saying that he didn’t want to team with Punk, but he didn’t have a choice. Zayn said that he asked Rollins to team with him, and Rollins refused.

Rollins fired back by saying that he refused to help Reigns regain his power. Zayn said Rollins created that monster. Rollins accepted his responsibility but said that Zayn did the same thing. He said that Reigns had not changed. Rollins told Zayn he was being naive and stupid, and Zayn challenged him to a match. Rollins accepted the challenge.
