Former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa is cleared to return after she recently suffered a concussion, according to a new report.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Rosa previously noted that she suffered the injury. She noted that she would be sidelined for a few weeks. Rosa has not wrestled since the August 31 episode of AEW Collision, where she faced Hikaru Shida, Queen Aminata, and Serena Deeb.

Rosa has dealt with multiple injuries in recent years. She missed over a year with a back injury, which forced her to relinquish the AEW Women’s World Championship. Rosa returned in December 2023 and regained her position as a featured member of the women’s division. She had a heated rivalry with Deonna Purazzo, and they clashed on the pre-show ahead of AEW Double or Nothing.

As of this writing, there is no word on when Thunder Rosa will return to AEW programming. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
