Report: More Details On Contract Issues Between Alexa Bliss & WWE

Alexa Bliss and WWE are reportedly having issues right now.

Earlier this week it was reported that Alexa Bliss was set to return to WWE on the January 13 episode of RAW. However, creative plans were put on hold due to a contract issue.

In a new update from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the issue between the two sides stems from Bliss seeking a new contract prior to her return while WWE wanted her to return under the terms of her existing deal.

Before Alexa’s planned return, her representatives contacted WWE informing the company they wanted to negotiate a new deal for her. WWE wasn’t interested in bringing her back on a new deal and wanted her to return under her existing deal that had time added to it. Neither side would budge on what they wanted, which resulted in her planned return being pulled.
