Penta Makes WWE Debut On WWE RAW

Penta made his long-awaited debut on the January 13th episode of WWE RAW.

In recent weeks, vignettes on WWE RAW teased his arrival. Chad Gable issued a challenge to Adam Pearce to find him the best luchador for a match on the January 13th episode of WWE RAW, and Penta was revealed as his opponent on Monday night.

The former TNA World Champion showcased his high-flying offense throughout the match. Gable grounded him at points, but Penta persevered. Late in the bout, Penta spiked Gable with a Mexican Destroyer. He rocked Gable with a kick. Gable rallied and trapped Penta in the ankle lock. Penta gained the upper hand and snapped Gable’s arm. He then hit Gable with the Penta Driver for the win.

In a post-match interview, Penta thanked the fans and said that WWE was his new home. He stated that he had been waiting for this moment. He said that this was a new era, and this was the Penta Era. Penta then embraced his family, who was in the front row.

Penta, also known as Penta El Zero Miedo, had been with AEW since 2019. During his time there, he held the tag team titles and the trios titles. He also won the ROH World Tag Team Championship. He has also wrestled for AAA, Lucha Underground, and MLW, among other companies.
