On The Bigger State: WWE Hall Of Famer's Show Gets Major New Platform

That’s big. Wrestling is in a weird place when it comes to its place in sports. You will occasionally see it tied into other sports and other times when it is treated as its own thing. Every so often you will see some strange combination where it is somewhere in the middle. That seems to be the case again, as a certain kind of wrestling show is getting a rather special platform.

As announced a press release, courtesy of Wrestlingnews.co, Booker T.’s Hall Of Fame show will be making its national debut on ESPN Radio on June 29 with the show covering UFC 303. This will be the first of multiple episodes as part of coverage of both UFC and WWE events. The show currently airs both on radio in Texas and as a podcast. There is no word on how frequently the show will air.

Opinion: That is quite the feat for any show and a great sign for what Booker T. has been able to do after his in-ring career has mostly ended. I’m not sure how often this show is going to air, but the fact that ESPN Radio looked at it and decided that it was the best choice for the spot. Maybe this is the start of a major run for the show, but it’s certainly a great accomplishment.
