Nic Nemeth Mocks Mandy Rose's Title Controversy After Big Championship Victory

Nic Nemeth is a professional when it comes to his social media game and he is always up-to-date with all the latest trends on social media as well. He is obviously well aware of the controversy surrounding Mandy Rose lately, and now he has decided to poke fun at Rose’s expense following a title win.
Nic Nemeth took to Twitter and commented on a photo of himself, which saw him winning the Internet Championship after defeating Matt Cardona in Adelaide, South Australia. Nemeth is now officially a double champion since he is already the WSW World Champion and so he decided to tag Mandy Rose and joked that both he and Rose are double champions, saying, “We did it @mandysacs we're both double champions haha.”
This comes after people questioned if Mandy Rose was truly a “double champion.” In 2022, she won both the NXT Women's Championship and the NXT UK Women's Championship, but they were later merged into one title.
Even though she held both belts at the same time before they combined, some fans argued that doesn't make her a real double champion and Mandy Rose was also quickly corrected by a Community Note after she tried to call out WWE.
Mandy Rose previously responded to the controversy, saying it’s funny how people who have never won a title are the ones arguing about it. She made it clear that no matter what others say, she still held two titles at the same time and made history. Her response got a lot of attention online, and she stood by her achievement despite the debate.
"It's so funny to me that the people that never held a championship before are the first to sit there and argue about what counts as a double champion. Listen, y'all can argue semantics all that you want, but I still held two titles at the same time. Yes, unified them, thank you. And, call it what you want; who cares? Double Champion, Mandy Two Belts, Undisputed Badass, whatever. It still doesn't take away the fact that I did it. So you know, y'all can keep fact-checking over there, and I'll just keep winning. Have a great day."
Nic Nemeth's joke was all in good fun, but it shows that the debate about being a double champion is still a big discussion in the wrestling world. Nemeth is now officially a double champion, while Mandy Rose continues to stand by her claim that she earned that title as well and it’s unlikely that this discussion will end anytime soon.
