Mark Davis Appears At AEW Fright Night Dynamite, Confronts Kyle Fletcher

Mark Davis had been absent for over a year until he appeared at AEW Fright Night Dynamite.
Kyle Fletcher previously turned on Will Ospreay at AEW WrestleDream and embarked on a new chapter, determined to prove that he was the present and the future. On the October 23 episode of AEW Dynamite, he called out Ospreay and challenged him to meet him the following week.
On the “Fright Night” edition of AEW Dynamite, Fletcher called out Ospreay. Instead, Mark Davis answered. He made it clear that he did not approve of Fletcher’s actions, as he highlighted what Ospreay had done for them. Fletcher says that he saw who Ospreay really was, and while Ospreay had forgotten about Davis, he had not. He said that he saved Davis a spot in the Don Callis Family.
Davis responded by saying that they had an empire, referring to United Empire, and Fletcher destroyed it. Fletcher fired back by saying that there would come a day when he had to make a hard decision, and he had already proven that he had no problem cutting the past loose.
Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher are former ROH World Tag Team Champions and IWGP Tag Team Champions, among other accolades. Davis had been sidelined since AEW WrestleDream 2023. It is not clear whether Davis’ appearance was a one-off or if it marked a full-time return.
