Just A One Off: AEW Personality Not Quite Ready To Return Following Surgery

Not quite. There are all kinds of health issues that can cause trouble for wrestlers during their career, but those issues do not go away once they are done in the ring. There will often be something else that has to be taken care of after their careers are over. That is the case with an AEW personality and things might not be as all wrapped up as they appeared to be earlier this week.

Taz made a surprise return to AEW Dynamite earlier this week, returning to his commentator spot after knee replacement surgery earlier this year. However, according to Wrestling Observer Radio, Taz is not back to the role full time as he is still unable to travel. The show took place in New York City, which is near Taz’s home. There is no word on when he will be returning full time.
Taz has done well in AEW. Check out his time in the promotion:

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise but it was nice to have Taz back, even for a one off appearance. Taz is one of the best commentators in the business today and thankfully it seems it is a matter of time before he is able to return to his job full time. Just a quick preview like the one we got was nice to see though and it certainly did not seem like Taz had lost a step.
