Jeff Hardy says that Willow could return sooner rather than later.
Willow was a character created by Jeff Hardy as a backyard wrestler. He eventually brought the persona to TNA, where his cackling and umbrella-twirling made him an iconic character on the show.
The Hardys recently sat down with Henry Lee and were asked about Willow potentially returning to TNA. Jeff Hardy revealed that he thinks Willow will return to TNA in 2025, and he said that his daughter helped him design the new mask for the character.
“Yeah, for sure, man—it's in the making. In Hillsborough, North Carolina, there's a Willow mask with a new faceplate design that my daughter and I created together. She was using Procreate to help design it. I've never really learned how to use Procreate myself, but we managed to collaborate and create something special for the new faceplate. It's waiting for me to pick up, try on, and feel the Willow energy.”
“I've always considered Willow the god of my imagination. That mask and character are definitely on my bucket list. I feel like Willow will resurface and reemerge in TNA in the year 2025.”
The Hardys Highlight The Best Part About Being A Girl Dad
The Hardy girls mean the world to their famous fathers.
Matt and Jeff Hardy recently spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. During the conversation, the Hardys were asked what the best part about being a girl dad is. Jeff has two daughters named Ruby and Nera, while Matt's youngest child, a daughter named Ever, was born in 2021.
"Oh! I'll go first. When we found out we were having two girls, this was before the Women's Tag Team Championships kind of became a thing," Jeff explained. "I'd said like a lot of times, 'Man, maybe I'll have the first Hardy Girls follow the dream I had when I was a kid. And the Hardy girls will be a team and wrestle and be the champions one day.'
Jeff said his kids don't really like wrestling in that sense, but they still go to events with him. Overall, Jeff said he feels blessed to have them in his life.
"They are not really that into wrestling. So, I don't think that's going to happen. But, it was an interesting thought when they were younger," Jeff continued. "But yeah, being a girl dad overall, I love it. I am so blessed and we… Oh my God! They mean the world to me."
