He didn’t need one. There are certain things in wrestling that you see on a regular basis, with little in the way out of the ordinary. The ending of AEW Full Gear saw the Death Riders attempting to leave the arena in their truck. Before they could get in though, a car rammed into the truck with Darby Allin being revealed as the driver. According to Fightful Select, Allin was actually the driver of the card and a stunt driver was not used. There is nothing to suggest that anything went wrong and Allin is believed to be fine.
Allin is different. Check out what he has done in AEW:

Opinion: This isn’t the slightest bit surprising as Allin is just nuts enough to do something like this on his own. It was one of those things that could have gone pretty badly but was probably done with enough safety and supervision that it worked out. Allin seems likely to be moving into the main event picture and with the way the fans react to him, I can’t say I’m overly surprised.
What did you think of the stunt? What is next for Allin in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
