Goldberg Set For WWE Return, What He'll Be Doing And When He'll Be Back

He’s back? There are certain wrestlers who might not be around all the time but they will pop up ever so often for a special match. You never know when you are going to see someone make a return and get involved in something big in a hurry. That very well may be the case in the next few weeks with one of the biggest names of a previous generation who has been around rather frequently.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Goldberg is expected to return to WWE on the January 27 Monday Night Raw. There are still plans for a match between Goldberg and Gunther, though it is not clear if Gunther’s World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line or when the match might take place. Goldberg has previously stated that his final match will take place this year, though it is not clear when that will take place.

Opinion: This is something that has bee rumored for a bit now and I’m not sure what to think of it. At the end of the day, Goldberg vs. Gunther has been set up but having Gunther as possibly Gunther’s final match does not exactly feel right. I could go for seeing Goldberg crushing someone one more time to wrap up everything that he has done throughout his career, but that might be a bit off.
