EVIL says goodbye to NJPW.
At NJPW Battle in the Valley, EVIL, SHO, and Sumie Sakai lost to Hiromu Takahashi, Yuka Sakazai, and Mayu Iwatani.
In his post-match comments, EVIL stated that he would not be going back to NJPW.
“Those damn punks are all full of themselves,” he said. “Listen up, I’m not going back to Japan. Goodbye New Japan. Don’t forget it.”
EVIL has held multiple titles in the company, including the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and the IWGP Tag Team Championship. He has also held the IWGP Intercontinental Championship and the NEVER Openweight Championship, among other accolades.
