Cut It Out? Details On Changes To Commercials When Monday Night Raw Moves To Netflix

Yes it will. There have been a lot of changes taking place in WWE in recent months and one of the biggest is still to come a few months from now. Starting in January, Monday Night Raw will be moving to Netflix, marking the end of its run on traditional television. That has opened up a variety of questions, but now we know something else about what to expect from the show.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, despite airing on a streaming platform, Monday Night Raw will still have commercials during the broadcast. While Netflix advertises ad free tiers, the ads will be included, though they might not be traditional length and could be far shorter. In addition, the show may not run the traditional three hours, with any particular episode taking less time depending on what is taking place that week.

Opinion: This is even more proof that we are entering uncharted territory with Monday Night Raw, as the show is going into an area that has never been seen before. I’m not sure what is going to happen with the show but the idea of commercials, or even the show’s run time, being that different, is a new world. It’s a good thing to see, and now I’m wondering what other changes we might be seeing.
