CM Punk doesn’t see too much change happening once Raw moves to Netflix.

The WWE signed a deal with Netflix to move Raw to the streaming site in January. This $5 billion deal is the biggest in company history, and takes the show away from the TV for the first time in their history.

With the change comes fewer rules and regulations for the show, which could see a less-child-friendly product being put out. However, CM Punk doesn’t think that much which change at all.

CM Punk appeared on “The Hot Tag w/ Brady” on 103.5 KISS FM (H/T to Fightful for the transcription). The former WWE Champion discussed Raw’s move to Netflix and how different the show will be.

He noted that there won’t be much difference from how it’s currently broadcast. He cited the Attitude Era as something they’ll try not to copy and doesn’t think Triple H will be booking gratuitous nudity and swearing on the show.

“From the product? I don't think you're going to see much difference than what it is now. We're pushing boundaries a little bit here and there. I just kind of want to temper people's expectations because I think there is a section of the fanbase like, 'Oh, they're going to Netflix. There is going to be full frontal (nudity) and swearing.' That is absolutely not the case. I think we've learned from the Attitude Era that you can only do that for so long before you try to outdo yourself every week and then it just becomes bad television. Every once and again you can push the envelope.

CM Punk: You’re Not Going To See Rhea Ripley Drop A C-Word

CM Punk explained the differences fans are going to see. He thinks the company will be able to “play with the format”, but thinks that there will still be commercials on Raw going forward.

He added that, despite the lack of restrictions on Netflix, you won’t be seeing wrestlers like Rhea Ripley swearing on Raw at all.

“I think what you're going to see in the difference of what the product is now is, I think there are still going to be commercials on Netflix. I'm not 100% about that, but we might be able to fudge it to where it's not during matches. You're going to see maybe some play with the format of the show. I'm not 100% sure on all that. Content-wise, I don't think you're going to see, as much as Rhea Ripley wants to come out there and talk like an Aussie and drop a C-word here and there, I don't think you're going to see that.”
