Bobby Lashley teases his next move.

Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley left the company in August. He had been sidelined with an injury in recent months, as he underwent his surgery. Lashley has been increasingly linked to AEW, as MVP and Shelton Benjamin have joined the company over the last month.

During a virtual signing with K & S WrestleFest, Bobby Lashley was asked about his future, and he made it clear that he has more left in the tank. He said that it was time to put pen to paper, and he teased that fans should see something “pop off” soon. (H/t Andrew Thompson of POST Wrestling for the transcription)

“I know the last few years have been a little up and down,” Bobby Lashley said. “But I got a lot more left in the tank and I can't wait to jump back out there. I had a little boo-boo, so I took a little time off to fix myself and I'm feeling good right now. I've been working out hard and I think the next few weeks, you should see something — something pop off. It's time to put pen to paper and start getting back to these fans.”

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) previously reported that Lashley’s deal with AEW had been “locked down” alongside those of Benjamin and MVP, and he had an impending debut.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
