Best WWE Feuds Of 2024

2024 set the bar incredibly high when it comes to WWE feuds. Vince McMahon’s departure from the company enabled Triple H to flex his creative muscles. What fans got were some incredibly well-done feuds.
But before we get to the list, let’s give a shout to Bayley vs. IYO SKY, American Made vs. The Wyatts and Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens, which brought the legendary Winged Eagle Championship to WWE television.
Now that we are done with our honorable mentions, let’s take about the best WWE feuds of 2024.
Braun Strowman & Bronson Reed nearly destroyed WWE backstage
This is the feud that established Bronson Reed as a legitimate threat to the WWE RAW roster. The AusZilla had carved a notorious reputation with his patented tsunami finisher until Braun Strowman entered the picture. Both men would spend weeks trying to kill each other. Their backstage brawls added to the brutality of this feud.
If Big E were to explain this feud, he’d probably call it the epitome of “big meaty men slappin’ meat.” Cars were destroyed, bodies were tossed. The final match in this solid trilogy saw both men collide under Last Man Standing stipulation. Strowman ended up winning the match, thanks to former tag team partner Seth Rollins, but at the cost of a groin tear.
The Judgment Day vs. Terror Twins
Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley both came out of WWE WrestleMania XL as world champions. Priest won the title by cashing-in on Drew McIntyre. Ripley retained her championship in a really good opener against Becky Lynch. Unfortunately, Mami would be forced to relinquish the title due to an injury at the hands of Liv Morgan.
The shoulder injury wasn’t the only thing to happen to her as she’d lose her “Latino Heat” Dominik Mysterio to Liv Morgan as well. As for Priest, he’d lose the world title to Gunther at SummerSlam after Finn Balor’s betrayal. Though the Terror Twins would get the win against Dominik and Liv, they’d close out title without the world titles around their waist.
The OG Bloodline vs. The New Bloodline
Roman Reigns didn’t just lost his top spot in 2024, he lost his prized “ulafala” to Solo Sikoa. The saga began after Solo had Jimmy Uso taken out by Tama Tonga on the WWE SmackDown after WrestleMania. The former Enforcer would only strengthen his hold by bringing Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu to the mix, shaking the very foundations of The Bloodline.
The feud would only get interesting at Bad Blood 2024 when The Rock showed up unannounced to confront Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. The best part, perhaps, about The OG Bloodline versus The New Bloodline is that it had so many storylines tied to each other. It remains to be seen what more twists and turns this “cinematic” saga will deliver in 2025.
Cody Rhodes and The Rock wasn’t for PG WWE fans
This writer is convinced Vince McMahon would’ve never pulled the trigger on Rock’s heel turn. WWE creative under Triple H seem much receptive to fan reaction. The WWE Universe wanted Cody Rhodes to challenge Roman Reigns. The massive backlash prompted the company to pivot from Roman Reigns versus The Rock to Roman vs. Cody II. But what happened in between turned out to be some of the most brilliant stuff when it comes to sports and entertainment.
From The Rock reverting to his heel character to Cody Rhodes getting busted open on live TV, the road to WrestleMania XL had fans tuning in week in and out. It was truly must-watch TV. Cody and The Rock would face each other in tag team action on Night 1. The Final Boss would pin the American Nightmare to plant the seeds for a highly-anticipated singles match-up.
CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre
CM Punk versus Drew McIntyre isn’t just this writer’s favorite feud of 2024, their Hell in a Cell match is my pick for WWE Match of the Year. Punk is arguably the most important wrestler of this generation. He’s so eloquent on the mic it’s hard not to take his word for Gospel. As for McIntyre, he had some of the most savage one-liners in this rivalry.
Also, this is perhaps the only major WWE feud of 2024 to go international. For those wondering, Punk flew all the way to Glasgow to cost McIntyre his world title match. This man can hate like no other. The final match in this rivalry was a blood bath and made Hell in a Cell feel like a feud ender.
