And Done: WWE Hall Of Famer Confirms That His In-Ring Career Is Over, Could Do Something Else

He’s done. Retirement is a tricky concept in wrestling as there is always the chance for someone to come back to the ring for one more match. You will occasionally see someone come back to the ring after an extended absence, though some will agree to officially be done at a certain point. Now a wrestling legend is making it clear that he is finally done in the ring.

WWE Hall Of Famer Diamond Dallas Page was recently interviewed by Metro where he said that at about five months away from 69 years old, he did not see himself having another match. Page said that while his body was still “a Ferrari” and that he did have a few more Diamond Cutters in him, he was “good” on having another match. Page last wrestled on the January 15, 2020 edition of AEW Dynamite.

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise as Page is realizing that he might not need to have another match at this point in his life. There comes a point of he might not be able to do the same things that he used to do and there is no need to ruin his legacy by trying to get back in the ring. Let his career speak for itself, which is something that a bunch of people are unable to comprehend.
