AEW Dynamite Viewership Decreases On 1/22, Demo Rises

AEW Dynamite saw a slight decrease in viewership on January 22.

According to Wrestlenomics, 655,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and the show drew a 0.19 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is slightly down from last week's episode when 679,000 viewers tuned in. The demo is up from last week's episode, which drew a 0.18 rating in the same demographic.

Viewership for Wednesday's show on MAX is unknown at this time.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week's show kicked off with a face-to-face between Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega. They were interrupted by The Don Callis Family, which led to a huge brawl between the two sides.

The Hurt Syndicate defeated Private Party to capture the AEW World Tag Team Titles for the first time. Mark Briscoe checked on Private Party following the match.

In women’s action, Jamie Hayter defeated Julia Hart. Hayter put over Hart following the match and teased a rubber match between them in the coming weeks.

The main event of the show saw The Rated R Superstar Cope defeat PAC in singles action.
