AEW Dynamite Preview For January 22: World Tag Team Title Match, Cope Vs. PAC
Today at 11:41 AM
AEW Dynamite comes to you live from Knoxville, Tennessee. Here’s what’s on tap for the show.
Julia Hart vs. Jamie Hayter
Julia Hart defeated Jamie Hayter at AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen. Tonight, both women will run it back in front of the Knoxville crowd. Hart and Hayter had also unsuccessfully competed in the Casino Gauntlet to determine the number one contender for Women’s World Champion Mariah May.
AR Fox vs. Swerve Strickland on AEW Dynamite
Tony Khan announced that AR Fox and Swerve Strickland will go one-on-one on Dynamite tonight. Fox and Strickland had a brief run as tag team partners as part of The Mogul Embassy two years ago.
Samoa Joe vs. Nick Wayne
Samoa Joe made a surprise comeback last week on AEW Dynamite. The Samoan Submission Machine helped HOOK against The Patriarchy. Tonight, Joe makes his return to in-ring action against Nick Wayne.
Cope vs. PAC on AEW Dynamite
Cope targeted The Death Riders upon his return at AEW Worlds End. However, Cope and FTR weren’t able to save Powerhouse Hobbs from getting his leg destroyed by Mox and his crew at AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage. The Riders jumped Rated R FTR last week on Collision.
Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay face off
After getting attacked by The Don Callis Family previously on Dynamite, Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay will come face-to-face. Can these two former rivals hash out their differences or will old animosity raise its ugly head?
Private Party (c) vs. The Hurt Syndicate – AEW World Tag Team Championship
The Hurt Syndicate first set their eyes on Private Party two weeks ago on Dynamite. Last week saw Shelton Benjamin pin one half of the tag team champions to get a shot at the titles. Tonight, it will be Lashley and Shelton against Zay and Quen for the titles.
WrestleZone will have full coverage of AEW Dynamite as it airs tonight.
